Cold Chain Control’s hybrid software refers to a solution that integrates different software components across various environments - specifically embedded systems, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud-based services. Here's what each component entails:

Software

Cold Chain Control Embedded Sensor Software

This is the software directly integrated into the Cold Chain Control IoT Sensor. It manages data collection, temperature monitoring, and basic operations like activation and alerts. It operates independently on the sensor and ensures that data is captured even when not connected to a network.

Cold Chain Control On-Premise Software

This component is installed and runs on local servers within a user's facilities, such as a warehouse or distribution center. It handles the data collection from sensors, processes it locally, and provides real-time analytics and reports. On-premise software is crucial for situations where immediate access to data is necessary, or when there are concerns about data privacy and security.

Cold Chain Control Cloud Software

The cloud-based component allows for remote access to data and analytics, long-term storage, and integration with other cloud services. It supports broader data sharing across multiple locations, centralized monitoring, and advanced analytics that might require significant computational resources.

By combining these three components, the hybrid solution leverages the strengths of each environment - local processing and quick access with the on-premise software, robust data capture with the embedded sensor software, and scalability and remote accessibility with the cloud software. This approach offers flexibility, security, and comprehensive functionality to meet various needs within the cold chain logistics ecosystem.

Unlocking Efficiency with Cold Chain Control’s IoT Sensor

Cold Chain Control’s IoT sensor design prioritizes simplicity, efficiency, and ease of use. Its aesthetic is sleek and minimalistic, with a focus on functionality. The materials and components are durable and reliable, chosen to withstand various shipping conditions. The system is highly intuitive, users activate the sensor with a simple shake, and visual indicators (blinking red or green lights) make compliance checks direct. This user-friendly design reduces training requirements and minimizes errors.

Cold Chain Control’s supply chain use case scenarios

Cold Chain Control’s solution is applicable to almost every cold chain use case you can imagine. Sending single units to different kinds of destinations as well as handling returnals:

1. Warehouse to warehouse
In this scenario, goods are transported between two large warehouses. Bluetooth beacons and antennas are installed at key points in both warehouses.

2. Warehouse to a pharmacy or point-of-sales with a handheld scanner
This flow involves shipping goods from a large warehouse to a smaller facility, such as a pharmacy. The pharmacy staff uses a handheld scanner with an Internet connection and/or BlueTooth connection.

3. Warehouse to consumer (B2C environment) with a web-based mobile app
Here, goods are shipped from a warehouse directly to a consumer’s home or a small business. The recipient uses a web-based mobile app to track the shipment and check the temperature status upon arrival.

4. Return from a pharmacy or point-of-sales (POS) to a warehouse
In this scenario, goods are being returned from a pharmacy or POS back to the warehouse. The warehouse will provide the pharmacy or POS with a return package, consisting of cooling box, Cold Chain Control sensor and return label. The pharmacy or POS does not require any IOT devices. The return shipment will be monitored to ensure it remains within safe temperature limits during transit.
